The Department of Asian Studies offers courses with topics arranged under our rubrics of
"Literature & Linguistics", "Religion", and "Society & Culture", as well as offering more broad courses under
our "General Education" heading and more specialized courses such as honors or graduate classes. Additionally,
associated faculty throughout the university teach courses exploring issues in the politics, economics, history,
culture, and development of different Asian regions.
Effective the end of the Spring 2013 semester, the FALCON program will be terminated. However, we will still be offering a summer intensive Chinese program,
newly called IMPAC - Intensive Mandarin Program At Cornell.
Want to find out more about courses offered by Asian Studies during the summer 2013? We offer intensive language programs in Chinese
and Nepali, as well as distance learning, three-week, and six-week session courses.
