Course Objectives
This course is designed for students who want an effective, comprehensive approach to learning Bengali that will enable them to make fast, solid progress in all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. At the completion of this two semester course, students will be able to converse in informal and formal interactions with people, talking in the Past Tense of happenings and events and giving and receiving directions. Classes are taught in Bengali from day one, emphasizing careful and individual instruction.
Course Audience
This course is designed for beginners who want an introduction to Bengali focusing on extensive use of the spoken language.
