Course Objectives

This course is an interdisciplinary introduction to Chinese culture from earliest times to the present, offered every Spring semester. Students critically examine themes of continuity and change through literature, thought, institutions, art and archaeology. There are two lectures and one discussion section per week. Sections are mandatory and attendence in sections is graded.

The main course page is hosted on the Moodle pilot site, and is accessible only to enrolled students.
