Requirements

The Joint M.B.A/M.A. Degree in Asian Studies has two main requirements:

  • Students apply separately to the Johnson Graduate School of Management (JGSM) and to the Graduate School and must be accepted by both the JGSM and the Graduate Field of Asian Studies.
  • Students must complete all the requirements of each field with the following modifications:
    • Residency Requirements:
      • JGSM residency requirement is three rather than four semesters
      • Successful completion of a one-year FALCON intensive language program may count as one of the two semesters of residency in the Graduate School required for the M.A. in Asian Studies.
    • Course Requirements: Fifteen "elective" Asian Studies credits can be applied against the sixty-credit total required by JGSM.
