Because the spring semester is conducted in Beijing, the dates differ from Cornell's spring semester. Dates are not yet confirmed.

Tuition and Fees

All students attending FALCON must be enrolled through Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences. Please note that there will be different tuition rates for undergraduate and graduate students for the 2008/09 year.

Summer 2008 (CHIN/JAPAN 1160 or CHIN/JAPAN 2201/2202):
$7,400 (based on $925 per credit hour)

Academic Year 2008-09 (CHIN/JAPAN 2260 and CHIN/JAPAN 3360):
Undergraduate and Graduate Tuition: $36,300

The tuition rate does not include books, supplies, housing, meals, travel expenses, or health insurance.  For more information regarding tuition rates, please consult Cornell University policy.

Cornell undergraduates seeking degrees in colleges other than Arts and Sciences: Please note that you will be transferred to the College of Arts and Sciences during FALCON. This means that all costs will be assessed according to Arts and Sciences rates, not your "home" college.

Deposits and Payments:
A deposit of $500 is required within two weeks of acceptance to each program to hold your place in that program.  All deposits are strictly non-refundable, but are credited toward your tuition balance.

A deposit of $500, due July 1st, is required from students enrolled in the full-year (summer and academic-year) which is also credited toward the tuition balance.
