Summer Session

"The Summer FALCON program at Cornell was not only an amazing way to start learning Chinese, it was also fun! Tuition and Fees

Summer 2011:
$8,440 (based on $1,055 per credit hour)

The tuition rate does not include books, supplies, housing, meals, travel expenses, or health insurance.  For more information regarding tuition rates, please consult Summer Session: Tuition and Fees.

Deposits and Payments:

A deposit of $500 and a completed enrollment form are required within two weeks of acceptance.  All deposits are strictly non-refundable, but are credited toward the tuition balance. The remainder of the summer tuition is due on or before the first day of class.

Health Insurance Requirements

Because of the high costs of medical care, Cornell requires all students to have health insurance coverage with either the Cornell University Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) or comparable health insurance.
SHIP is a policy designed especially for students at Cornell. It provides extensive coverage for illnesses and injuries, and includes special cost-saving features to keep the coverage as affordable as possible. It covers pre-existing medical conditions and includes medical evacuation and repatriation under separate coverage through On Call International. SHIP members are covered twenty-four hours a day throughout the term of their enrollment, anywhere in the world. To find out more about SHIP, please click here.
Please be advised that you must complete the Summer Session 2011 Health History Form by the time you begin Summer Session.  The deadline for submitting all health related forms is May 29, 2011.
