Tuition and Fees
Summer 2009:$7,760 (based on $970 per credit hour)
The tuition rate does not include books, supplies, housing, meals, travel expenses, or health insurance. For more information regarding tuition rates, please consult Summer Session: Tuition and Fees.
Deposits and Payments:
A deposit of $500 is required within two weeks of acceptance to hold your place in the program. All deposits are strictly non-refundable, but are credited toward the tuition balance. The remainder of the summer tuition is due on or before the first day of class.
Housing
On-campus dormitory housing for the summer is convenient but somewhat expensive.Students often have very good luck finding summer sublets off campus, either bedrooms or whole apartments. An excellent place to look is at sublets on Craigslist, especially for the summer. Housing Solutions has compiled a helpful list of median rents in the Ithaca area which should help you better assess the cost of living.

Student Health Insurance Plan Information for the FALCON Summer Program
Because of the high cost of medical care, it is Cornell University policy that all students, including participants in the FALCON Summer Program, are required to have adequate health insurance. We hope that you will have a successful and healthy experience at Cornell this summer and having quality health insurance will give you the peace of mind that you will get the care you need in the event of unanticipated illness or injury. Please review carefully any plan you might consider to make sure it will provide adequate coverage for you while you are enrolled in the FALCON Summer Program.
