"The Summer FALCON program at Cornell was not
only an amazing way to start learning Chinese, it was also fun! I loved having
access to several native Chinese professors that were there to help me every
step of the way. The change in my reading, writing, and conversational skills was so drastic and quick! It's amazing to think that only after two months I was able to hold full conversations with native Chinese speakers on a wide variety of
topics. This program definitely gets two thumbs up!" – Samantha Hawkins, Summer

Health Insurance Requirements
Because of the high costs of medical care, Cornell requires all students to have health insurance coverage with either the Cornell University Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) or comparable health insurance.
SHIP is a policy designed especially for students at Cornell. It provides extensive coverage for illnesses and injuries, and includes special cost-saving features to keep the coverage as affordable as possible. It covers pre-existing medical conditions and includes medical evacuation and repatriation under separate coverage through On Call International. SHIP members are covered twenty-four hours a day throughout the term of their enrollment, anywhere in the world. To find out more about SHIP, please click here.
Please be advised that you must complete the Summer Session 2011 Health History Form by the time you begin Summer Session. The deadline for submitting all health related forms is May 29, 2011.
