DescriptionHola! Em dic Ashley i sóc la instructora de català aquí a Cornell. Vaig aprendre el català a Bochum, Alemany i després a Barcelona, Espanya. Come learn Catalan and find out what the heck I said about myself and Catalan! FYI: THIS WEBSITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!! Check back often for updates. Please feel free to email me.

Course Description

What is Catalan? Què és el català?
Catalan is a Romance language spoken by some 10 million people in Andorra, France, Italy,
and Spain. Although prior knowledge of another Romance language (such as French, Spanish,
Italian, or another) is an advantage,
this course is intended for students with no experience
in Catalan
. It provides a thorough grounding in all language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and
writing. Students will acquire the fundamentals of communication necessary for direct contact
with Catalan culture.
