Angelika Kraemer

Angelika Kraemer

Angelika is the Director of the Language Resource Center at Cornell University. Before joining the Cornell team in July 2018, she worked in the Center for Language Teaching Advancement at Michigan State University for 10 years. She holds a Ph.D. in German Studies, specializing in second language acquisition and computer-assisted language learning.

Her research interests include language center management and second language acquisition, specifically technology-enhanced and mobile language learning, languages across the curriculum, and student motivations, and she has published and presented widely in these areas. She currently serves as President of the Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning (CLTL), Past President of the International Association for Language Learning Technology (IALLT), and Editor of The Language Classroom section of the journal NECTFL Review. She also recently completed a six-year term as Co-Editor of the journal Die Unterrichtspraxis/Teaching German published by the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG).
